Respin is a tool I designed for my senior thesis at the University of Houston. I wanted to create a product that reduced waste. A massive amount of waste comes from fast fashion. Some fashion only makes sense in one specific context, and the moment it is removed from that context it becomes garbage. Things like commemorative t-shirts, uniforms, and fad-chasing fast fashion. Respin tackles this issue by turning t-shits into t-shirt yarn, far easier than the process by hand.
