Loop
The Loop Shower handle is designed to assist the arthritic in taking a shower. This shower handle utilizes TPE over-molding that is soft on the hands and indicates touch points. Its form facilitates a number of non-traditional grip styles that put less stress on the joints. The large loop on the handle allows the user to simply use a loose grip or a fist to adjust the temperature.
Part of this project was validating my design by visiting a nursing home with prototypes and getting their input. I learned a lot about how to interact with our local communities to improve the outcome.
