Precious Plastic as an endeavor is only a drop in the bucket when it comes to the waste stream. Its biggest value is to educate and inspire those we teach. As President, one of the initiatives I undertook was establishing guidelines for training new members on all our equipment. Many of our machines are hazardous to operate without proper training, and over many sessions, I educated many members on the best practices to operate these machines safely.
During the summer of 2022, we were offered the opportunity to run a workshop for Rice's Feral Atlas for High school students.
